Scottish Premiership outfit Motherwell are battling “at least one” English club for the signature of Rangers talent Jake Hastie.
According to the Scottish Sun, Hastie could be set for a return to Lanarkshire on loan with Motherwell enjoying a Europa League qualification place as things stand.
Hastie, 21, joined Rangers at the beginning of last season after his contract came to an end at Fir Park.

The talented right winger enjoyed a prolific breakthrough season with the Premiership club, hitting an impressive six goals in 12 topflight games.
But Hastie failed to break into the Gers first team last season and was eventually farmed out to English League One Rotherham.
The talented young Scot burst onto the scene down south, netting a goal in each of his first three games for the South Yorkshire club.
But the goals eventually dried up for the powerful winger and so did the minutes before Hastie’s loan deal was cut short [RangersTV].
Rangers reportedly shelled out £300k in compensation to bring Hastie to Ibrox [Express] but with competition on the wings fierce a return to Fir Park looks a good move for the youngster.
Should any move come to fruition, Rangers will be hoping Hastie can kick on and take his game to the next level before returning ready to vie for a spot in the first team.

Hastie would, however, have to face the ire of the Motherwell fans, who were furious at his decision to join Rangers.
The abuse Hastie suffered was so bad it “shocked” one of his Fir Park teammates, meaning any return to the Steelmen would certainly be controversial.
