Former Rangers manager Russell Martin could now be in charge of a club that has won the Premier League.
Martin joined ahead of the 2025/26 season following the takeover, but his stint at Ibrox was short-lived, and he was eventually sacked in October.
Current boss Danny Rohl did not enjoy the best of campaigns once he took over from the 40-year-old, and still has a lot to do to prove his doubters wrong next season.
Who is the worst-ever Rangers manager? 🤔
We think it cannot be anyone else except Russell Martin!
Leicester City ready lucrative move to hire Russell Martin
According to journalist Alan Nixon, Leicester are making one final push to hire Martin.
Since he was sacked by Rangers, the 40-year-old has been out of work, but is liked by the Foxes, who just got relegated to the third tier of English football.
They are said to be ready to make a lucrative bid for the Brighton-born manager.
Currently, Martin is said to be considering his options, but the former Premier League winners are hopeful that they can sway his mind.

Rangers stint serves as a reminder why Leicester are making a mistake
Martin’s tenure at Ibrox was the worst in the history of the club and fans cannot believe how it even happened.
Even before he was offered the job, a large section of the fanbase were against his appointment.
Turns out they had a point and were absolutely spot on.
How long will Danny Rohl be at Rangers?
Andrew Cavenagh has confirmed he will not be sacked ahead of the new season…
He managed just five wins in all competitions, but suffered six defeats and six draws.
In seven league matches, Martin could guide his team over the line on just one occasion.
Even in front of the media, he cut a figure who was not quite sure about what he was doing and was eventually sacked.
Leicester, as one-time Premier League winners, may be walking into a disaster waiting to happen.
Martin has proven that he has struggled to live up to expectations at a side that would want to win the league and return to the second tier.
Gers fans will not be surprised if, after four or five months, the Leicester support begin to turn on the manager as it’s something they have already witnessed at Ibrox.
