With the excitement building, all eyes are on who Rangers boss Michael Beale will select to face PSV in the Ibrox leg of the Champions League Playoff.
The Gers overcame the Dutch last season at this stage, with revenge on the mind of the Eredivisie side who’ve made some substantial investment this summer.
Pressed on this rematch of sorts ahead of the Champions League clash, Michael Beale pointed to the fact that things are very different for both Rangers and PSV this time around.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst was facing off against former Netherlands teammate Ruud van Nistelrooy in the dugouts last season whilst Rangers are now bossed by Michael Beale and PSV by Peter Bosz.
On top of that, Rangers have just undergone a massive summer overhaul whilst PSV have invested north of £30m on new additions themselves.
It means that this could potentially be a very different tie than before, even if Rangers will be hoping for the same result, and Michael Beale has challenged both his new look side and the Ibrox crowd to stand up and be counted.
