As with Steven Gerrard when he was successful, Ange Postecoglu is being eyed for jobs in the Premier League with Spurs said to be the latest interested party but Rangers have to focus on themselves.
The Celtic manager looks set to seal a treble unless Inverness pull off a bigger shock than the year they went ballistic, thanks in no small part to our own inadequacies.
Writing in his Daily Mail column, Rangers legend Brian Laudrup reckons that if Ange Postecoglu departed for the Premier League and to Spurs, not much would change and that there is a more important factor at stake.

When discussing the Australian’s possible departure with the Celtic boss favourite for the Spurs job, he said:
“Postecoglou leaving wouldn’t give Rangers the upper hand for next season.
“Not with the structure and the squad the Australian has put in place at Parkhead.
“But it would, at least, give my old club a chance to even things up if they got their own business right this summer.
“Often, though, it takes a little while for a new manager to put across his own ideas and make the changes he wants. A degree of uncertainty is introduced.“
Postecoglu to Spurs changes nothing for Beale’s Rangers rebuild
The only issue with Postecoglu leaving Celtic, for them, is that a lot of the players they have signed have come from the manager’s recommendations not a director of football or recruitment team.
Would they all want to stay and would a new manager be able to continue the same philosophy?
Then, would they continue a similar recruitment strategy under the new manager or would they adapt to more of a team approach?
Laudrup is right though, the most important issue to address this summer is us looking after our own shop.
Rangers have to get the recruitment right and make sure that the players Michael Beale wants are signed to give him the best possible chance of success.
The Gers gaffer has shown with Nicolas Raskin and, in particular, Todd Cantwell, that he can identify the type of player needed to take us to the next level.
A few more of their quality and it won’t matter who they have in the dugout.
