Former Rangers star Ricky Foster had to be held back by his Partick Thistle teammates as he clashed with one of his own supporters.
The ex-Ibrox full-back was filmed clashing with a Jags fan at Somserset Park after the Glasgow club narrowly made it into the Championship playoffs despite losing 3-1 to Ayr United.
This was due to Raith Rovers being held by Championship winners Kilmarnock and tempers flared come the final whistle.
As blood boiled a Partick Thistle supporter filmed Ricky Foster fuming with a supporter as tensions rise ahead of the club’s promotion push.
The right-back is 36-year-old and joined Partick Thistle last summer after a stint with Ross County, with Ricky Foster also turning out for Aberdeen, Bristol City, St Johnstone and Rangers.

The full-back had a loan stint at Ibrox in the season 2010/11 season where he played extensively in the Champions and Europa Leagues.
Foster also signed for Rangers again during the “journey” back up from the lower divisions, signing a two-year contract between 2013 and 2015 but failing to impress.
A prominent pundit in Scottish football programming, Ricky Foster remains a divisive figure in the Rangers support despite being an ex-player.
The pundit also spoke about the celebrations of Motherwell star Ross Tierney when he goaded Rangers fans in last week’s 3-1 win at Fir Park.
“It’s a great run from the full back, a fantastic cross, and it’s a good header,” said Foster, regarding the goal [BBC Scotland].
“He’s probably regretting his celebration now, after the end result. But good play from Motherwell.”
Partick Thistle will now face a double-header against Inverness Caledonian Thistle with the winner facing Arbroath and then the 11th place Premiership side for a place in the top flight.
Meanwhile, a one-time Rangers-linked Scotland talent is being linked with an £18m move to a top European side.
