Former Rangers player Juninho Bacuna, who the club sold during January transfer window, scored his first goal for Birmingham City on Saturday.
The Gers snapped Bacuna up from Huddersfield Town in August for no up front fee [Herald], but he would only last a few months at Ibrox.
After making just 12 appearances for the club, scoring one goal and notching three assists, he was sold to Birmingham for an undisclosed fee.
Rangers offloaded an out of favour player for a profit and the EFL Championship club picked up a talented midfielder who’s hungry for minutes, so it was a move that worked for all parties.
Bacuna went straight into Lee Bowyer’s team and he’s already made four appearances for the West Midlands club.

He notched an assist on his second appearance in a defeat to Sheffield United and on Saturday afternoon, he found the net himself.
In a home league fixture against Luton Town, Bacuna opened the scoring in the 25th minute after being picked out by Lyle Taylor, who had pounced on a defensive error.
Taylor doubled the advantage early in the second half and then a 69th-minute strike from Onel Hernandez completed a surprisingly comfortable 3-0 win.
Bacuna has made a significant impact already at St Andrew’s and Birmingham are now 14 points clear of the relegation zone.
