One thing that Philippe Clement has done since taking over as Rangers manager is keep things simple, every player knows their job and knows what is expected of them.

Personally, why not do both?
A three-man midfield with John Lundstram, Mohamed Diomande and Sterling would be well balanced and also give Tom Lawrence the evening off.
It would also allow John Souttar the chance to play in his best position, the right-sided centre-half in a back three.
We know that Ridvan Yilmaz and James Tavernier are more than capable of providing the width with Fabio Silva a natural to play off Cyriel Dessers in a free role.
The more you think about it, the more it makes sense.
If needs be, Nico Raskin, Kemar Roofe, Borna Barisic and Lawrence can add fresh legs but, on paper, it looks like the type of system that would be well suited to the Rangers players currently available to Philippe Clement.
Whether or not he adopts it, is another matter.
