Rangers supporters haven’t been able to stop raving about Ovie Ejaria against Spartak Moscow last night.
The Rangers midfielder put in such an energetic display in the Gers engine room, and left nothing on the pitch. Supporters were extremely appreciative of the on-loan Liverpool man’s efforts to say the least.

He wasn’t the only one who impressed last night. The likes of Ryan Jack and Alfredo Morelos ran themselves into the ground against Spartak, and both earned positive reviews.
It was Ejaria, whoever, who received the most gushing praise from the Gers supporters. The Rangers fans took to Twitter post-match to give their thoughts on the midfielder’s display.
“A young Yaya Toure”

They never opened us up, we just couldn't get going properly arounf thheir box. Ejaria MOTM for me, thought Coulibaly looked a bit sluggish but I think we started our strongest 11 and still had options on the bench. Good point and clean sheet with all to play for in the group.

The way ejaria creates that half yard by changing his body shape and shifting his weight is class to watch at times

A strong display
Ejaria was just one of a number of star performers for Rangers last night. You feel, however, like he’s one of the men whose position is under some real threat with the strenuous competition available.
Whenever the on-loan Liverpool man has featured in a big game, he’s consistently stepped up. It’s all the more impressive given that Ejaria had never previously played in Europe.

He also did well considering the fact that his midfield partner, Lassana Coulibaly, was sub-par once more. Coulibaly continuously gave the ball away cheaply, and continues to look off the pace since returning from injury.
Ejaria, however, can be pleased with his own display. The supporters are behind him, and he continues to go from strength to strength in Glasgow. Thoughts of buying the youngster, however, remain premature at this early stage of the season.
The draw against Spartak has Rangers sitting top of their Europa League group. Villarreal sit second, level on points with Gers. Rangers now face Aberdeen in the Betfred Cup on Sunday.
