Rangers are searching for a new manager but Graham Potter has ruled himself out of the running for the Ibrox hot seat.
Michael Beale has reached the end of his time as Rangers boss having been axed on Sunday night.
Beale saw his Rangers side lose 3-1 to Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon and that proved to be the end of the road.
Beale has been under immense pressure for weeks though and there felt like no way back after major defeat to PSV Eindhoven and Celtic.
Rangers have decided that a change has to be made with Beale now gone less than a year into his reign at Ibrox.
Graham Potter rules himself out of Rangers running
The search for Beale’s successor is already on but one out-of-work boss has already ruled himself out of the running.
The Daily Record report that Graham Potter doesn’t want to become Rangers boss.
It’s stated that sources close to Potter have indicated that he will not be replacing Beale in the Ibrox dugout.
A move to Rangers would have been interesting given that Potter’s long-term assistant is Glasgow-born Billy Reid.
However, Potter is biding his time before returning to football having lost his job at Chelsea earlier this year.
A move to Rangers doesn’t really fit into Potter’s plans as he waits for the perfect opportunity, which fits in with The Sun reporting last month that the Englishman had rejected a move to Rangers.

Potter would have been a coup but Rangers will move on
Hailed as a ‘genius’ by one of his former Swansea City players and branded an ‘outstanding coach’ by Jurgen Klopp, Potter seemed destined for the top.
The move to Chelsea just didn’t work out though and Potter’s next move is unclear.
Some think that he could become England boss after Euro 2024, summing up what a coup this could have been for Rangers.
We can understand asking the question with Potter out of work but Rangers must now move on.
The likes of Kevin Muscat and Ralph Hasenhuttl continue to be mentioned, with Rangers no doubt having a number of options in mind with Potter out of contention.
