The Oceanic Rangers Supporters Association (ORSA) has launched a special raffle in the aim of raising funds to tackle the bushfires raging in Australia.

Record-breaking temperatures combined with high winds and severe drought have resulted in the terrifying fires sweeping the country.

At least 24 people have died in the fires and over 6.3m hectares of bush, forest and parks have been burned [BBC], with close to half a billion animals perishing.

In order to help support those battling the blazes and in the rebuild once they eventually end, ORSA are appealing to bluenoses to enter a special raffle.

Ordinarily, the group will do a member’s only raffle every year for exclusive Rangers merchandise.

But appealing on their official Facebook page, the group are asking supporters to pay $5 per ticket to win three brilliant prizes.

Up for grabs is a signed current Rangers home shirt, a signed ball and a free ticket to the ORSA Gala Dinner.

This is an opportunity for supporters to help battle the blazes currently raging across Australia whilst also being in with a shout for a signed top.

ORSA deserve every credit for the fundraiser and donations to this worthy cause will go a long way to making a difference in the region.
