Rangers youngster Kai Kennedy is reportedly a target of Premier League side Sheffield United after he decided there is “no chance” he’ll sign a new deal at Ibrox, according to a report.
The young winger, 18, has been routinely linked the likes of Liverpool, Roma and Manchester City as his contract enters its final year.

According to the Daily Record, the youngster will now be allowed to leave Rangers before next Monday’s transfer deadline after it was decided he will not be signing a new deal at the club.
The report also claims that Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United are the latest club to express an interest in the player and are said to be “high” on a list of potential destinations.
As of yet, there have been no official bids for Kennedy and Rangers will demand suitable compensation for a player who has already made his first-team debut for the club.
Kennedy was a second-half substitute in Rangers’ 2-0 Scottish Cup win over Stranraer in January.
The youngster was also the MVP as a Rangers U17s team lifted the ALKASS Cup in Dubai back in 2017.
Rangers fans were also convinced that Steven Gerrard took aim at the youngster in August amid reports contract talks had broken down.
“I want to bring academy players in,” said Gerrard [RangersTV].
“But first and foremost they’ve got to commit to the football club.
“If you don’t commit to the football club you’re not going to be seen anywhere near me.
“They’ve got to be good enough, they’ve got to train every day like it means the world to them to play for Rangers.
“I’ve been hearing a few things down at the Academy that there’s been a bit of ego about so they won’t be around me.
“I’ll only play the players that show me on a daily basis that they’re good enough to be around us.

“Nathan Patterson, Jamie Barjonas and Lewis Mayo have shown that since the first day so they deserve the opportunities they’ve had and I’m pleased for them.”
The Daily Record suggests that if Kennedy is not sold in this window he will wait to see his contract run down and move on next season.
