Rangers centre-half Niko Katic has described the adulation he receives from the Rangers fans as “a miracle” as he discusses life at Ibrox.
The towering centre-back’s no-nonsense, physical style is well received from the Ibrox legions, with 23-year-old Niko Katic becoming a firm fan favourite in Glasgow.
It’s something which is very important to the big defender, who appreciates every ounce of love he gets from the Rangers support.

“We just talked about that after I signed the contract,” said Katic [Sportske Jutarnji]. “It seems like I’m Rangers fans’ favourite!
“That is fantastic. Honestly, their support is not realistic in some way. Simply I don’t understand myself why fans love me that much. It’s a miracle.
“Not even in my wildest dreams did I expect such support. They probably love me because of my style of play.
“I am always stubborn, there’s no lost balls for me, I’m always in a duel, I’m absolutely doing my best.
“I believe that’s what they like about me, that’s why I’m so appreciated by fans. It’s beautiful when you have so much support from fans in such a big club.”

The big defender clearly relishes his status as a fan favourite and with an attitude like that you get the idea that the gracious Katic is determined to give us something back.
