Newcastle United fan and music producer Schak has offered to DJ at the next birthday party of Rangers legend Ally McCoist.

The invitation comes after Ibrox legend McCoist praised the DJ for his performance during the pre-match build-up to Newcastle United’s St James’ Park League Cup victory over Southampton.

The 3-1 aggregate victory over the Saints ensured the Toon Army a date at Wembley for the first time since 1999 and their first League Cup Final since 1976.

This is accompanied by rampant form in the Premier League, with Eddie Howe’s Magpies 3rd in the table and in with a genuine shout of Champions League qualification.

Schak offers to DJ for Ally McCoist

The entire thing has a good feeling building on Tyneside with North Shields producer Schak praised by Ally McCoist for his pre-match party ahead of the game.

The electronic music producer has provided the soundtrack to Newcastle United’s season with his release “Moving All Around” as the catchy track is adopted by the St James’ Park faithful.

First mentioning the DJ on Sky Sports Football’s coverage of the Southampton clash, Super Ally McCoist also praised Schak later on TalkSPORT.

And the Newcastle United fan has offered to play the Ibrox legend’s upcoming birthday after Schak responded to the former Rangers boss on Twitter, telling him he’d do his party “anytime”.

Schak also spoke about how surreal it was to have Ally McCoist talking about him, with the Rangers legend a former commentator on the FIFA gaming franchise.

Schak has made a string of appearances across sporting media as the Newcastle United fan fever continues and the DJ is in buoyant mood about the club’s chances this season.

Given the years of tumultuous boardroom issues – driven by a man Rangers fans know too well in Mike Ashley – fair play to Newcastle United and let’s hope Schak keeps the Toon Army dancing in the street.

Meanwhile, Rangers fans have a song of their own for Malik Tillman.
