Fans were delighted when news of the new Glasgow City Centre store was announced. It will surely be the same for the one in Belfast, which is set to open in the city’s Castle Lane. Rangers have a huge following in Northern Ireland and it’s great to see the club trying to access it.
It means our friends across the water will be able to buy Rangers merchandise in the city. It’s also the latest development as the club look to stabilise its merchandising operation.

The club has been embroiled in a numerous off the field legal actions concerning merchandising.
It has meant Rangers fans were forced to boycott buying Rangers merchandise as a disproportionate amount of the monies spent went to the club.
This all changed when the club announced kits going on sale online. Fans were that excited the website crashed.
The previous kit deal continues to hang over the club, but kits remain on sale on the club’s website and in the Rangers store. In fact, the prices of kits were recently slashed by 50%.

Whatever is going on in the background the current regime would not endorse these moves if they felt it wasn’t beneficial to the club.
