NARSA, the North American Rangers Supporters Association, has confirmed that the 2022 annual convention will be held in Las Vegas after both 2020 and 2021 were postponed due to Covid-19.

The global pandemic has impacted all walks of society and North American Bears – and those in Europe willing to travel – were left disappointed when the 2020 event was cancelled.

As vaccination efforts ramp up and with a great deal of insecurity over this year’s event in Toronto, NARSA 2021 was cancelled earlier in the year. Read more HERE.

The 2022 event takes on extra-prominence with the fact it will be Rangers’ 150th anniversary year and the supporters club have announced the event will take place on 2nd-4th of June 2022.

“We have secured a location and a venue for our 150th celebration,” said a NARSA spokesperson on their official weekly update.

“We are going to return to Las Vegas, Nevada for the first time since 2017 and our event is going to be on June the 2nd to the 4th, the Thursday to the Saturday.

“Once again we’ll actually be back at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Resort for the event.

“It was very important to secure a location and venue which could match both the guest numbers that we’re anticipating and also a venue befitting of the style of party we want to host for the 150th anniversary.

“So Vegas does this for us in spades, I do know and appreciate that Vegas isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but we can’t please everyone and we hope that we can get as many Bears as possible from across the globe on board to have the party of a lifetime.”

NARSA aren’t the only ones planning for a big party come the club’s 150th anniversary next season.

Rangers themselves have some grand plans as they hope to open a special museum and fan zone for fans at a new Edmiston House.
