Motherwell have joined the race to sign Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter on loan until the end of the season.
The Rangers midfielder is available for loan after Steven Gerrard said this would suit Rossiter’s development.
The Daily Express report that the Scouser is an attractive proposition for Motherwell Manager Stephen Robinson. Strong, robust yet capable on the ball, the Northern Irishman sees Rossiter as an ideal addition to his side.

The report claims that any move would depend on Robinson freeing up some of his wage budget first. Rangers would also be expected to pay a decent proportion of Rossiter’s wages.
The same report also claims Rangers have rebuffed the reported offer from Dundee United for the midfielder. The Arabs now ply their trade in the Championship.

The report also cites a potential fan backlash as one of the reasons the move was knocked back.
Rangers fans remain angry at the Dundee United board for their role and attitude surrounding Rangers being sent to the bottom of the domestic game in 2012.

The midfielder is also reportedly interesting Joey Barton at Fleetwood Town.
Rossiter joined Rangers back in 2016 but his time at the club has been marred by serious injury. Now over the worst of his issues, Rossiter, 21, is fully fit, but he needs game time to develop.
Might Fir Park be the best option for the combative midfielder?
