Greenock Morton fans have heaped praise on Rangers loanee, Josh McPake, for his performance against Queen of the South in the League Cup.
The two sides faced off at Cappielow on Tuesday night in their first competitive fixture of the 2020/21 season.

There was a Rangers loanee in either team, with Josh McPake on the wing for the hosts and James Maxwell at left-back for the visitors.
The latter showed up well and provided an all-important assist for a Connor Shields goal in the 79th minute which levelled the scores at 2-2, with QoS then going on to win on penalties.
However, it was McPake who earned the most praise from an extremely encouraging 90 minutes.
The 19-year-old has excelled at youth level for the Gers but struggled on his first loan stint away from the club last season, failing to score or earn regular playing time at Dundee.
However, he looked very keen to make an impression in this one after being handed a start by David Hopkin and he got a reward of sorts for his exciting attacking play with an assist for Aidan Nesbitt’s 68th-minute goal.
The Gers loanee picked out his teammate at the back post for a tap-in to put Morton 2-1 up.
Shields’ equaliser for QoS and subsequent penalty misses from Robbie Muirhead and Rabin Omar ensured McPake was on the losing side, but he made a big impression upon the Morton fans.
