If Alfredo Morelos has yet to make a goal scoring influence for Santos, then his ability to have an impact off the pitch can’t be questioned.
The Colombian international has found himself in a relegation battle rather than competing for trophies but that hasn’t lessened his passion for success.
In a tense fixture with Vasco da Gama, Alfredo Morelos saw his team come out on top but it was far from uneventful for the Santos striker.

Alfredo Morelos returns to old ways at Santos
A video has emerged on X where El Bufalo showed that he has lost none of his firey nature when leaping off the bench to defend Yeferson Soteldo.
Although the Santos number 10 was pushing his luck.
Santos may have 4-1 but they also saw red twice whilst Vasco da Gama had a player sent off too.
It’s maybe just as well that this is the only time that Morelos came off the bench though as teammate Rodrigo Fernandez was red carded without even making it on.
The result might have been a positive one for Alfredo Morelos but the 27-year old must be starting to get concerned with his lack of minutes for Santos.
Ideas of a move back to Europe will soon be shelved if he isn’t playing or if Santos get relegated.

It’s a far cry from when Alfredo Morelos was the striker who every team feared in the Europa League and bullied the likes of Pepe and Mats Hummels, sitting on the bench for Santos isn’t quite the same.
All the pent up frustration at not playing obviously isn’t good for his blood pressure but with Marcos Leonardo continuing to score goals, he’ll have to be patient.
And that’s never been Morelos’ strong point.
