Speaking ahead of the game, Michael Beale has urged Rangers fans to have a little patience and realism with the player given the changing nature of the game.

This comes with Raskin impressing ahead of the Celtic game in the 3-0 victory over Livingston at the Tony Macaroni.

“Nico Raskin has come into the club and started well,” said Michael Beale [Rangers].

“I’ll temper that a little bit with the two games that we’ve played where we’ve had a lot of possession. I think this game will be a much more even game in that sense and he’ll have to show other qualities.

“Todd and Nico are the exact kind of players I want to bring into the club. They’ve got their best days in front of them.

“Really impressive young men, not just football players, and they’re people I can build around and go on a long journey with.”

Rangers paid a reported £1.75m to sign Nicolas Raskin from Standard Liege on deadline day and the midfielder has already begun making an impression on the first-team.

But it’s clear the best is yet to come from Nicolas Raskin with the Celtic Final the chance for the talented midfielder to showcase his abilities for Rangers at a higher level.

Meanwhile, the biggest hint yet that Filip Helander could be set to leave Rangers has just dropped.
