Rangers manager Michael Beale has raved about Todd Cantwell on the club’s official website for his performance against Ross County at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Beale has said that Cantwell, who joined Rangers from Norwich City in the January transfer window for £1.5 million (TheTimes), was “absolutely fantastic” for the Gers in their game against County.

Rangers got the better of County 2-1 at Ibrox in the league yesterday.

Cantwell started the match and played for 83 minutes.

The 24-year-old midfielder provided the assist for the first Rangers goal.

The midfielder took four shots but none of them were on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 94.2%, took 90 touches, attempted two dribbles, made one tackle and two interceptions, and put in one cross, according to WhoScored.

Encouraging

In our opinion, Todd Cantwell has done well for Rangers and has made a very positive impact at Ibrox already.

Rangers manager Michael Beale clearly knows what kind of signings is going to make his team good enough to win the Scottish Premiership next season.

Cantwell did well for Norwich City in the Premier League and in the Championship in England, and he has found no problems whatsoever in adapting to the Scottish Premiership.
