Rangers boss Michael Beale claims there is “nothing concrete” in reports Leeds United are closing in on Glen Kamara.
The Ibrox manager was responding to reports in the Scottish Sun that the 27-year-old Finnish international is edging closer to a £5.5m move to Elland Road.
It comes after a summer-long saga of exit reports surrounding Glen Kamara, with Leeds United one of most prominent names mentioned.
Speaking after Rangers’ 2-2 Champions League Playoff draw with PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox, Michael Beale claims there is “nothing concrete” in the reports.
“Nothing that I’ve heard about that,” Michael Beale said.
“So if anything has happened whilst we’re preparing for the game, there’s nothing concrete on that right now.”

This comes after the Rangers boss swatted away suggestions Leeds were interested in Glen Kamara earlier in the month.

Michael Beale cools Glen Kamara Leeds United links
It’s led to some confusion surrounding the former Arsenal Academy graduate, who is set to leave Glasgow this summer.
With Leeds United prominently linked, and recently banking £20m from Tyler Adams, there has been a suggestion Glen Kamara is set to return to England.
However the comments of Michael Beale will cool these claims for now with Glen also said to have options in France, Denmark and Turkey.
Rangers famously paid Dundee around £50k to sign Glen Kamara in the January of 2019 after initially striking a pre-contract with the midfielder.
One of the most important players in the 55th league title triumph and in reaching the Europa League Final, recent seasons have seen a downturn in Kamara’s Rangers form.

There’s been a strong sentiment that the midfielder, who is contracted to Ibrox until 2025, wants a new challenge and that is set to be realised this summer.
It’s just unclear where this will be for Glen Kamara as Michael Beale rebuffs imminent Leeds United exit reports for the second time.
Glen Kamara has made 193 appearances for Rangers, scoring nine goals and laying on eleven assists.
