During an interview with RangersTV, Mark Allen confirmed one first-team star will leave the club at the end of the season.
There have been plenty of twists and turns to loan stories involving Rangers this season.

Then, young forwards, Zak Rudden and Ryan Hardie, extended short-term deals at Falkirk and Livingston respectively.

Meanwhile, Bears aren’t giving up on the prospect of keeping Liverpool loanee, Ryan Kent, at the club.
However, it looks like there are to be no such twists with Joe Worrall. In fact, Rangers Director of Football, Allen, is already planning for life without him.
“There’s no secret to the fact Joe Worrall will go back and return to Nottingham Forest, so obviously, there’s a focus on making sure we are robust back there and I think generally we’re looking at where we think we can strengthen,” he told RangersTV.

Worrall has been out of the team recently, with Nikola Katic instead partnering Connor Goldson.
However, at least he’s likely to be afforded the chance to say farewell at the weekend. Katic has been granted time off by Gerrard, and with Gareth McAuley being firmly frozen out, the stage is set for the 22-year-old to come back in.
Let’s hope he can end on a positive note by helping the Gers to a seventh consecutive league win.
