Manchester United, Newcastle United and Real Madrid are among the clubs who are interested in signing Rangers midfielder Bailey Rice in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.

Manchester United, Newcastle United and Real Madrid linked with Rangers midfielder Bailey Rice

The report has claimed that Manchester United, Newcastle, Real Madrid, AS Monaco, FC Porto, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester City all are monitoring the 16-year-old midfielder and have been impressed by him.

Rangers manager Michael Beale reportedly like the youngster a lot and is a huge fan

Rice joined Rangers in June 2022 after rejecting the chance to sign professional terms with Motherwell and made his first-team debut against Livingston last month.

It came immediately after he captained the Scotland Under-17 side against their Switzerland counterparts.

Verdict: Rangers should keep Bailey Rice

In our view, Rangers should keep Bailey Rice and should not succumb to any pressure from Manchester United, Newcastle United or Real Madrid to sell him.

That such big clubs are monitoring the 16-year-old shows how good he is.

It is clear that the teenager is a gem.

Now, of course, the chance to play for Real Madrid and Manchester City can be tempting, but at Rangers, Rice has the chance to become a first-team player.

In fact, he has already made this debut for the Gers.

Rice should take that into consideration.

Rangers should do their utmost to keep Rice.

If the 16-year-old progresses and develops as we expect him to, then Rangers would be able to sell him for millions in the coming years.
