The Rangers tweet confirming the move for Malik Tillman has resurfaced as the conversation continues around the future of the Bayern Munich loanee.
Tillman, 20, has been a stand-out performer for Rangers this season with the club holding an “exclusive” option-to-buy for the USA international come the end of the season.

With Malik Tillman now flourishing at Rangers under Michael Beale – and the attacking midfielder at the centre of almost every game at the moment – there’s not a soul in Ibrox who doesn’t want a deal concluded.
Michael Beale has said as much, with the ball seemingly in Bayern’s court and reports suggesting Rangers will need to pay £5m [the Times] to make the move permanent.
Now, the latest comments from Malik Tillman, which are positive about Rangers but keep his Bayern future, have blown the conversation open.
“I just want to play as much as possible,” Tillman told Kicker.
“But I don’t really care where that will be. I feel comfortable here, very much so. I’m bringing in my performances, which I think they like quite well here at Rangers. But I could also imagine that Bayern really like it.”
Rangers hold Malik Tillman “exclusive”
Fans are generally quietly confident that they can convince Bayern to sell Malik Tillman to Rangers, with the player looking for minutes and the Germans set retain to a buy-back clause.
But any suggestion another club could swoop in and pinch Malik Tillman at the last moment have been rebuffed by the confirmation tweet reappearing, with Rangers themselves claiming they have an “exclusive” deal with the player back in July.
“Rangers FC are today delighted to announce the signing of Malik Tillman on a season-long loan from FC Bayern, with an exclusive option to buy,” reads the Tweet.
That means no matter what happens Rangers will likely be at the centre of it with the Ibrox side determined to sign Tillman and it seemingly on Bayern Munich to decide.
Meanwhile, the return of Ianis Hagi to the starting XI v Partick Thistle was a welcome sight.
