The Scottish Sun reports that Rangers are in advanced talks over the loan signing of Sheyi Ojo.
The 21-year-old winger is currently attached to Liverpool, and it’s suggested he’s just about to pen a new five-year deal at Anfield.

However, first-team opportunities there have proven limited there, as yet. Therefore, much of his experience of senior football has come via loan deals.
Ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, he’d turned out for Wigan, Wolves, and Fulham.
Most recently, though, he headed to France and represented Stade de Reims.

There, he made 18 appearances in all competitions, including 15 in Ligue 1. His solitary goal came in the French League Cup against Orleans.
That’s the context behind his most recent Twitter activity. On Saturday evening he tweeted a picture of an open book with the quote: “Playing in different environments and leagues has stretched me. With each loan, I’ve been able to learn something new.”
Most interestingly, though, he captioned the tweet with ‘next season..’

It’s hardly a leap to read that this suggests he’ll be on the move for the 19/20 campaign, and crucially, to a new league.
That would rule out a return to France, or a drop to the Championship. The SPL, though, is open.
Rangers fans are begging the club to secure Ryan Kent’s signature, but even if that doesn’t happen, they could still have themselves an exciting Liverpool winger on the books next season.
