Liverpool name their price for Harry Wilson with Rangers interested - report

The Mirror reports that Liverpool have named their asking price for Harry Wilson.
The 22-year-old winger enjoyed an excellent 2018/19 season on loan at Derby County and came within a whisker of helping them to promotion via the playoffs. He scored an impressive 16 goals and registered four assists across the Championship campaign [WhoScored].

He also impressed in cup competitions, netting away at Southampton in the FA Cup and scoring a spectacular free-kick to help dump Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup.
Furthermore, Wilson has established himself at international level in recent times. He played the full 90 minutes in
Wales’ defeat to Croatia on Saturday.

Despite all that success, the Mirror claims he isn’t part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans going forward. That’s promising news for a whole host of suggested suitors from Rangers to RB Leipzig.
It’s claimed that Steven Gerrard is a big admirer, but if Wilson is to come to Ibrox, it looks as though it would have to be on a loan deal.
That’s as Liverpool are said to have slapped a £21m price tag on their player’s head.

There is hope for Rangers, though, in that Liverpool don’t necessarily need to sell up now. Wilson is contracted at Anfield until 2023 [Transfermarkt].
Therefore, another successful loan deal may either convince Klopp to change his mind or increase the player’s value even further.
