“Rangers will play differently at home than they did in the last week. The crowd will be a factor.”

Austrian International Konrad Laimer was also at the press conference, and he echoed the thoughts of his manager regrading the atmosphere.

“We’re excited to play in a stadium like this in front of a sell-out crowd. I know it will be loud, but I can get used to that and deal with it. I like atmospheres like this one and they motivate me even more.

“Ibrox will be bouncing tomorrow, but we’re also really up for it! We want to give it absolutely everything and that’s what we’ll do.”

Leipzig lost their second Bundesliga game in a row against Borrusia Monchengladbach on Sunday, with dangerman Christopher Nkuku scoring the solitary goal in a 3-1 loss.

Tedesco was ‘disappointed’ that his side couldn’t get result be he is confident that they can get the job done on Thursday.

“We were disappointed with the Gladbach result, we want to win every game. But that’s behind us now and we’ve got a fantastic game ahead of us.”

Rangers dug deep in Germany to try and come away with a respectable draw but were undone by Angelino’s wonder strike in the 85th minute to give the Germans a slender one goal advantage.

The Ibrox men will need to win to at least take the game into extra time and the crowd will be vital.

Can Rangers continue to dream?
