After Rangers signed former Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe, there was plenty of excitement in the Ibrox support.
This is a player the club are known to be long-term admirers of and after a brief stint in Anderlecht – where Roofe cost the Belgian club £7m – Rangers are delighted to get the deal over the line.

But it wasn’t just bluenoses who took to Twitter to celebrate the signing coming back to the United Kingdom.
Roofe, 27, remains incredibly well thought of by the Leeds United faithful after a goal-strewn first spell at the club littered with big moments.
Many Leeds fans were gutted to see Roofe go last season, and some would’ve even taken him back at Elland Road after the club was promoted to the Premier League last season.
The versatile forward spent three years at Leeds United and built up a reputation as a hard-working player capable of scoring goals who is very useful with both feet.
According to Transfermarkt, the striker scored 33 goals and hit 14 assists in 122 games for Leeds.
But most of these goals were shared out in his final two seasons with the Elland Road side where he hit 14 in 17/18 and 15 in 18/19.
An outpouring of Leeds United supporters are convinced this is a major deal for Rangers and cannot speak highly enough about the forward’s ability.

Rangers signed Roofe on a busy day of transfers at Ibrox with the Gers also adding striker Cedric Itten to the ranks from Swiss side St. Gallen.
According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers signed Roofew for £3.5m and Itten for £2.5m, a combined fee of £6m.
