Leading Scottish football pundit and Clyde One panellist Hugh Keevins has claimed that on current form he cannot see anyone beating Rangers this season.

The Ibrox side is currently 11 points clear in the Scottish Premiership title race with Celtic having two games in hand on their rivals.

Whilst many might’ve certainly pondered over the idea of an unbeaten season no-one has been brave enough to really suggest it as this early juncture.

But speaking after Celtic dropped points against Hibs at the weekend and with a Rangers side who don’t look like conceding a shot on target, let alone a goal or a point, Keevins claims he can’t see anyone stopping the Gers on current form.

“Everything in the garden is rosy (at Rangers),” said Keevins [Clyde SSB 23/11/20].

“I’ve already said on the programme tonight that I cannot see anyone at the moment beating Rangers for the remainder of this season.”

Host Gordon Duncan would play down the suggesting by claiming there’s “still a lot of football to be played” but Keevins’ comments will certainly stand out to Rangers and Celtic fans.

Making such a comment on the popular radio show will not have gone down well with the rival Celtic fans who phoned-in in their numbers to bemoan Celtic boss Neil Lennon.

Rangers fans also tuned in to last night’s programme as they indulged in the minor panic which has begun emanating out of the east end of Glasgow.
