Some Celtic fans have come up with their most laughable Rangers conspiracy yet as they claim the Ibrox club are ready to sell Alfredo Morelos to Lille for a knockdown price.
It’s often said that what some Celtic fans don’t know, they make up, and true to form there has been some truly tragic responses to the Ligue 1 club’s reported interest in the Colombian.
The latest conspiracy is that Rangers are looking to sell their 29-goal prized asset for €6m ahead of the new season.

The laughable rumour appears to have been started by conspiracist Celtic fan bloggers with absolutely no official suggestion of this fee from any reputable source.
Lighting a fire under a rumour like this is a sure-fire way to get a response from a certain type of rival supporter.
This desperate narrative about keeping the lights on is the stuff of absolute delusion and a figment of their imagination.
Reports have suggested that Rangers rejected a £13.7m bid for the striker and are holding out for around £18.2m [Foot Mercato].
Lille are also expected to test Rangers’ resolve with a bid closer to this fee in the coming weeks [Scottish Sun].

Whilst there are plenty of Celtic fans revelling in the notion Morelos could leave, they should be careful what they wish for.
The striker has had a mental block against the Parkhead club and if he does leave, will secure a fee which Rangers can spread across their team.
