Rangers have agreed to move their fixture with Dundee United forward by over a month in a move which means the Gers can now win the league at Celtic Park, the home of the club’s fiercest rivals.
The Ibrox side were originally scheduled to play Dundee United at Ibrox on April 3rd but the match has now been moved forward to Sunday February 21st.
That weekend was originally scheduled to be a Scottish Cup weekend but the competition remains postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Should Celtic and Rangers win every single one of their games between now and the next Old Firm derby on March 20th then the Gers can win a historic league title at Celtic Park.
What an incredibly fitting end to this season that would be with the Gers rampant and Celtic folding like the proverbial pack of cards.
It’s an unthinkable outcome for our Glasgow rivals but an exciting one for Gers fans who would hold immense bragging rights over the Celtic counterparts for decades to come.
Celtic fans blew this season up more than any other and despite a period of domestic dominance the fact they failed to secure the “10IAR” they spent a decade chanting about means it will always be considered a failure.
