Korean girl group STAYC have been snapped wearing classic Rangers kits after a hilarious mix-up whilst on tour in Texas, USA.
The K-Pop stars played a concert in Dallas, Texas on Thursday 19th October as part of their Teenfresh world tour and rocked up wearing a McEwens Lager classic.
It’s hard not to look good in the classic kit from 1996/97 but eagled-eyed fans have pointed to a Rangers kit mix up in the Korean girl group’s preparations for the show in Texas.
Sports fans will know that Major League Baseball side the Texas Rangers as based in Dallas and the Asian outfit appear to have gotten things a little confused.
Performing in Texas, it would’ve made sense to sport a modified version of the home sports team kits but they’ve been snapped wearing Rangers jerseys instead.

Korean girl group STAYC don classic Rangers kit
The entire thing has raised a big laugh online and given Celtic’s presence in the Far East – the Parkhead side having several Japanese and Korean players in their ranks – it appears Rangers are also inadvertently building a presence.
Whilst Rangers fans will see the funny side of the hilarious STAYC Rangers kit gaffe, the fact the kits have been so modified will raise a few eyebrows.
Given the jerseys have been cut up and redesigned for the show, Rangers fans will be hoping that STAYC purchased cheap knock-offs and not actual copies of such an iconic jersey.
The 1996/97 jersey is regarded as amongst the most iconic tops in Rangers history with the club winning a Scottish Premiership title and Scottish Cup double that season.

Sported by the likes of Paul Gascoigne and Brian Laudrup, Korean girl group STAYC are the latest to don the iconic Rangers kit whilst in action.
It’s not the first time Rangers have been spotted in the K-Pop scene either.
Classic sports jerseys have regularly been used by K-Pop artists and another classic Rangers kit popped up in a video for one Korean boy band’s track back in 2020.
