Former Rangers defender Bruno Alves has been linked with a move to Juventus in this transfer window.
Now of Serie A Parma, Italian Sky Sports journalist Gianluca di Marzio had Alves linked to the Old Lady along with a host of other names.
The reported interest comes after Juventus defender Mehdi Benatia joined Qatari club Al-Duhail.

According to Tuttomercadoweb.com, Juventus would have to splash out £1.5m for the privilege of Bruno Alves too.
But if Alves, 37, is attracting interest from a European giant and
Alves situation in Scotland bizarre
The big Portuguese centre half was Pedro Caixinha’s marquee signing. He’d just came off the back of winning the European Championship with Portugal but a year ealier and has over 90 caps for his country.
He would bring steel, experience and quality to our flapping defence. We were all excited.
But in reality the former Porto man didn’t play anywhere near enough. Nor did he have the desired impact when he did. He was sheepish and wasteful on the ball, uninterested off it.
Being honest, it’s a strange situation. Russell Martin also revealed in a recent podcast interview with Owain Tudur Jones that several players at Ibrox threw in the towel at the end of last year.

Specifically “there were others who pulled out with all sorts, or who played and were like “all I’m a bit sore” and I thought it’s not the honest thing to do.”
Whilst there’s no way to definitively say, Bruno Alves was conveniently injured far too often at Ibrox. It’s frustrating especially when you consider the monumental wages he would’ve been on and his ability and experience.
It felt like he never connected with the club or fans, and worse, never made any effort to.
Did the legendary Portuguese centre half throw in the towel when the going got tough at Ibrox?
