Rangers Director Julian Wolhardt was spotted watching the Rangers game against Hamilton at New Douglas Park as speculation persists about investment at Ibrox.
The Hong Kong-based Danish businessman was in Hamilton to take in the Bears as Steven Gerrard’s side ran out 3-1 winners.
But following claims from former Ibrox midfielder Alex Rae that investment in the club is imminent [Clyde SSB], Wolhardt’s presence comes at an interesting time.

Alongside Club 1872, Wolhardt purchased £1m of Mike Ashley’s Rangers shares and one year later was appointed to the Ibrox Board.
According to documents lodged with Companies House, Wolhardt has “significant influence or control” at Rangers [Scottish Sun].
Although Danish-born, Julian Wolhardt is based in Hong Kong. He is the CEO of Dehong Capital Partners (DCP), a private equity firm based in the region.
Prior to establishing DCP he worked ten years at KKR, a global private equity firm, worked with Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia, and worked in the Mergers and Acquisition Group of Lazard Frerers & Co. in the US.

He is certainly an interesting figure and Rangers fans will be interested to see if his presence against Hamilton has anything to do with the comments of Alex Rae.
Wolhardt will almost certainly be in Glasgow so he can attend the upcoming Rangers AGM this Tuesday.
Could we expect an announcement on the ongoing situation then?
