Josh Windass might’ve moved on to Wigan this season, but it hasn’t stopped him being a prominent character amongst Rangers fans online.
Still polarising Rangers supporters to this day, the attacking midfielder regularly communicates with fans and on all matters Rangers via Twitter.
He also regularly praises ex-teammates and still passes comment on the club. Windass even sent a young fan a Rangers top with his name on the back just in time for Christmas.

The eccentric forward also gave an eye-opening interview with Simon Ferry about his time at Rangers a few months back.
But Windass is yet to congratulate his former teammates, or Rangers supporters, on Saturday’s victory. Whilst he might just be taking some time off at Christmas, you’d think he’d be celebrating with us and his ex-teammates.
The former Accrington Stanley player passes comment on just about everything else.
Unless of course the Yorkshireman is gutted he’s not a part of the celebrations. Once a Ger, always a Ger, but you get the feeling Windass was being immature in leaving Ibrox.
You also get the feeling he misses the club. Windass said he left because Rangers had the cheek to accept £2.5m for him. It came across as arrogant. It was really Josh’s loss – Rangers have came on leaps and bounds since he left in August.
The decision was in his hands and he could’ve easily been a part of this team.

The 24 year old played 41 times last season, scored 18 goals and assisted a further eight. It was a mighty contribution, but his attitude never quite matched it.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but sometimes silence speaks volumes too. And if it is the case, it might sum up why we’re better off without the midfielder.
