After last night’s disappointing result in Vienna, Steven Gerrard nodded to a need for more quality additions. He looks to have secured his first in Jordan Jones.
At least according to reputed journalist Bill Young. The Rocksport DJ tweeted that his usually reliable source Dances with Bears confirmed the deal was on.
But Rangers may have to wait till January to get their man. Young also tweeted that his source said it was a “pre-contract but will deal in January if price is right”.
A flying, direct winger, Jordan Jones would add pace and power to our forward-line. Against Rapid last night, we saw how a lack of quality depth impacted us on the wings.
Arfield was tossed out to the right because of Candeias suspension. He toiled and was largely ineffective.

I think it’s important Rangers get this one over the line in January if they can. Whilst we have players in that position, there’s a heavy reliance on Glenn Middleton and you get the impression he might need a spell out the side.
We also want these players to gel and settle as quickly as possible. I think January is going to be a big month for Rangers.
Are these three also set to join the club early next year?
