Every week is a big week for Rangers with Philippe Clement having experienced more downs than ups in his time in charge.
Next up for the manager is Spurs and Celtic with two games that could decide his future in the Ibrox hot seat.
The Rangers boss will have been expecting to face Ange Postecoglou, but after another disappointing defeat for Spurs, his coat is on an even wobblier peg than Clement’s.

Pressure builds on Ange Postecoglou ahead of Rangers clash
After racing into a two goal lead against Chelsea, the home side capitulated and lost four goals before scoring a late consolation goal.
To make matters worse, Spurs lost Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven in the first half through injury, as well as Brennan Johnson.
Speaking after the game, Postecoglou cut a frustrated figure:
“Look it’s a sore one for sure. It’s painful. We started the game really well. Then we lose Romero and nothing’s gone smoothly for us, said the Spurs boss.
“I thought we had some big moments to get a third. Second half was a bit of a give and go for quite a while. Two penalties weren’t great. We need a bit more discipline in the box.”
History repeating itself as ducks fall into line for Rangers
To beat big/better sides, Rangers need a bit of luck on their side and their Europa League opponents couldn’t be in a worse run of form.
Not only are they heavily affected by injuries at the back, but their manager is clearly under more pressure than he has been at any point throughout his coaching career despite reports that his job is safe.
Clement didn’t help himself with comments about finances, however, he has evidence to suggest that the level of opposition doesn’t have any impact on his game plan.
He is unbeaten away from home in Europe and went toe to toe with Benfica and Real Betis last season and saw his team produce one of the performances of the season by battering Nice 4-1.
The French cracks also had a few injuries at the back, could Clement do the unthinkable and cause another upset and ramp up the pressure even more on Postecoglou?
If he is still in charge when Thursday night comes around, that is.
