Rangers have struggled for creativity in the middle of the park recently, with Gerrard intimating his intentions to buy in January. With a creative midfielder on the radar, could Rangers look to Morgan Gibbs-White?
A Football Fancast poll suggests fans are behind the move. The polling group have also suggested Rangers should actually consider a move for the midfielder.
Whilst they aren’t suggesting any concrete interest, they think it could be a good fit at the club.
But who is here?

A young playmaker with a bright future
Many people might not have heard of Morgan Gibbs-White before now. The Wolves midfielder is only 18 years old but has already made six appearance in the Premier League so far, albeit from the bench.
The young Englishman impressed fans with his performances against London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal.
But for Rangers, I think we need better quality and more experience right now. There’s no doubt Gibbs-White sounds like a top prospect, but is he any better than Ovie Ejaria?

Rangers need that experience and quality to topple Celtic and mount a title challenge. At 18, Gibbs-White is not the man to come in and help the club handle big matches.
I can’t see this move ever really materialising.
Rangers have consistently stumbled on the big occasion. Gibbs-White isn’t the answer to solving that problem.
But I can think of one man who would be.
