As Rangers have struggled to find their feet domestically, the form of £7m summer signing Ryan Kent [Sky Sports] has come under ever-increasing scrutiny.

An expensive outlay for a club in Scotland, many expected much more from the tricky 23-year-old after his deadline day move from Anfield to Ibrox.

But with his form stuttering and the price tag weighing heavy in the minds of supporters, is it time the winger faced a spell out of the side?

Hibernian loanee Florian Kamberi has impressed fans in the few weeks with his energetic cameo performances leading many to believe he deserves a run in the side.

Traditionally a forward, Kamberi even came on to replace Kent early in the second half of the 3-2 win over Braga.

The Swiss/Albanian forward is clearly desperate for an opportunity at Rangers and with Kent out sorts, it’s a real opportunity for the attacker to show what he can do.

An undoubted talent during his time at Hibs, Kamberi strikes as the kind of player who relishes big matches and the big occasion but hasn’t yet had a real chance at Ibrox.

In contrast, Kent has been stuttering and the Ibrox side may be better served giving the talented winger a spell out of the Ibrox spotlight.

Is it time Kamberi was given a proper opportunity to impress at Rangers with Ryan Kent struggling for form?
