Steven Gerrard took today’s press conference, as an opportunity to provide an insight into the treatment table at Rangers.
He addressed the respective fitness levels of five key members of the first team squad.
Overall, it was mixed news.
Eros Grezda
The Albanian international was pictured at Rangers’ training camp in Tenerife last week, using crutches and wearing a protective boot.
Naturally, that sparked speculation that he could be out for an extended period.
However, Gerrard cleared up the situation this afternoon, stating that it will be weeks, rather than months, before he returns.

Connor Goldson
The centre-back took picked up a whole host of knocks in the lead up to the winter break. He went through the pain barrier to feature in the Old Firm, and is clearly still not quite ready.
He won’t play tomorrow night, but is unlikely to miss an extended period.
Borna Barisic
The most positive news, came on Borna Barisic. The Croatian has been dogged by injury problems in his debut season at Ibrox.
Yet, his manager revealed he has now fully recovered from a troublesome hamstring problem. The left-back is immediately available for selection.
Graham Dorrans
31-year-old Dorrans is a long term absentee. He has been out with a serious knee injury since September.
Gerrard confirmed that the midfielder has resumed running, but will return in February at the earliest.
Jamie Murphy
Patience will still be required with the winger. He hasn’t appeared since August after damaging knee ligaments away at Kilmarnock in the League Cup.
While exciting pictures emerged of him doing some individual pitch work in Tenerife, Gerrard only expects him to be ready in time for the end of the season, if at all.
