Injured Rangers pair Kemar Roofe and Joe Aribo have been snapped back in the gym as they step up their recovery from injury.

The Ibrox duo are amongst the most talented players at the club and despite a run of good form from the side their absence will surely have been felt by their teammates.

Posting on his Instagram stories, £3.5m summer signing Kemar Roofe pictured himself and Nigerian international Joe Aribo hard at work in the gym.

Former Charlton midfielder Joe Aribo started the season very strongly but has been missing ever since Rangers defeated St. Johnstone 3-0 in mid-August.

On September 11th Rangers boss Steven Gerrard claimed the gangly midfielder faced four to six weeks out of action which means he could return halfway through the international break.

Aribo, 24, was left out of the Nigeria squad for their upcoming internationals but these photos will give Gers fans hope the technician will be fit for the Old Firm on October 17th.

Kemar Roofe picked up a calf injury during the 5-0 win over Lincoln Red Imps with Rangers initially believing the problem to be minimal.

But after a scan on the problem Rangers boss Gerrard revealed Roofe would not be seen again until after the upcoming international break [Glasgow Times].

Having both players back in the gym is a very good sign of the progress being made in their recovery and the Ibrox support will be hoping these two talented players are back on the pitch before long.
