Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has been recalled the Rangers starting XI for the first time in five matches as he recovers from a calf injury.

Jack’s absence had offered an opportunity for Glen Kamara, Scott Arfield and Steven Davis to impress but the latter has been rested for the visit of Ross County.

Jack isn’t the only player returning from injury either, with Nigerian international centre-back Leon Balogun also being given the chance to impress.

Balogun, 32, hasn’t been started a Rangers match since the visit of St. Johnstone in mid-October and the defender will get his chance after encouraging performances in his early Ibrox career.

Swedish international defender Filip Helander will drop out for the Nigerian after another impressive showing on the European stage.

Rangers goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin has also been recalled to the starting line-up for the match against the Staggies.

The big stopper, 33, hasn’t been seen since Rangers dropped two points at Hibernian with the form of legendary Rangers keeper Allan McGregor keeping the ex-Hearts man out in the meantime.

But McLaughlin will look to impress between the sticks today as he looks to build on his early form in a Rangers jersey.

The only other change from the side that beat Galatasaray 2-1 on Thursday evening is the inclusion of pacey winger Jordan Jones.

Northern Ireland international Jones got off the mark for Rangers in the 5-1 win over Motherwell and has been drafted in with Ianis Hagi dropping out.

Here’s how some of the Rangers fans reacted to the starting line-up for the Scottish Premiership clash with County:
