Rangers star Nicolas Raskin takes to Instagram to claim he is “trying” to bounce back from an injury problem which has ruled him out six games.
The Gers have a hectic run of matches up until the next international break on October 8th with clashes against Real Betis (H), Motherwell (H), Livingston (H), Aberdeen (H), Aris Limassol (A) and St Mirren (A) on the immediate horizon.
The pressure is on Michael Beale to navigate this next period successfully but the Rangers manager hasn’t been helped by the latest injury to Nicolas Raskin.
It comes after the player did not take part in a training session ahead of the Europa League clash with Real Betis.
Taking to Instagram, the 22-year-old Belgian midfielder claims that the issue is “small” and claims he is “trying to get back” ASAP.
Posting on the Instagram stories section of the social media platform (20/09): “Unfortunately incurred a small injury. I’m trying to get back as quick as possible.”

Rangers dealt Nicolas Raskin injury blow
With Brazilian striker Danilo fracturing his cheekbone in the weekend’s win over St Johnstone, and Todd Cantwell still unavailable, it’s a situation of great frustration for the Rangers manager.
Nicolas Raskin has emerged as a key player for Rangers ever since joining last January from Standard Liege and fans will be hoping the player can bounce back quickly.
“Nico [Raskin] is out until after the international break with a calf problem,” Michael Beale told the press ahead of the game.
“He took a kick in the game and afterwards it’s given him a problem in his muscle.

“Raskin, Cantwell and Danilo will be missing. We still have options in midfield – we are losing a good player but we have good ones coming in.”
The onus will be on the likes of Jose Cifuentes and Ryan Jack to step up in the absence of Nicolas Raskin whose midfield tenacity has been a feature of our play recently.
In total, the ex-Belgian U21 international has made 25 appearances for Rangers since joining the club in January.
