Celtic fan group the Green Brigade have claimed that an “indefinite ban” could keep them out of attending the Betfred Cup Final.
The controversial group have been banned by Celtic for the match with Rennes for disruption at the club’s tie with Lazio at Parkhead and subsequent UEFA sanction.
The “Ultras” group didn’t exactly take the news well and have come out hissing at our Parkhead rivals for the decision.

But they claim that what Celtic haven’t told their fans is that the Green Brigade now face an indefinite ban from matches.
That could mean they won’t be in attendance for the matches with Rangers at Hampden or Parkhead.
A snippet from the Green Brigade statement reads:
“Omitted from the Club statement is the fact that all Green Brigade tickets for all upcoming fixtures are being withheld until further notice – including the upcoming League Cup Final and potentially as far as to the Glasgow Derby at the end of the year.”

Rangers Ultras group the Union Bears are also no strangers to run-ins with their own board.
The section housing the group was closed after UEFA sanctions for sectarian singing at Ibrox.
