Rangers might have rubbished reports linking Alfredo Morelos to Crystal Palace [Daily Record], but that’s no guarantee someone might come in for the striker.
The talented Colombian’s 30 goals from last season have naturally put him at the centre of transfer speculation.
But should Morelos move on, could Rangers reinvest some of the money into a Premier League stalwart?

Daniel Sturridge has consistently impressed with Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool over the course of the now 29-year-old’s career.
But Sturridge has also consistently spent time on the treatment table.
The talented striker’s career has been hampered with niggling injuries that have seen him fail to get a proper run of games over the last few seasons.
It’s also resulted in the player being released after his contract expired at Anfield.
Now a free agent, clubs will be monitoring his situation but it is likely Sturridge will have to take a considerable wage cut at his next club, more than anything, to prove his fitness.
A former Liverpool and England teammate of Steven Gerrard’s, the Rangers boss’ sway means a move for Sturridge isn’t completely out with the realms of possibility.

Rangers could certainly do worse than the striker should the talismanic Morelos be moved on.
