The Rangers Villarreal match will be played in front of a full house tomorrow after all tickets were sold for the penultimate Europa League Group fixture.

The stadium will also be full to the brim with Rangers fans. Earlier in the week the club put the away end up for general sale.

Once again Rangers fans have stepped up for the big occasion.

The match is Rangers biggest European test for close to a decade. What’s more, there’s a real chance we can get something from the game.

And if the fans can create an atmosphere like any of the other huge European nights this season, they’ll play a giant role.

Tomorrow night is all set to be a beauty under the lights in Govan.

Villarreal match a real opportunity

This Villarreal team hasn’t exactly had the greatest of seasons. Their weekend win against Real Betis was their first home league win of the season and their first victory in six matches.

They sit 16th in La Liga, three points off the dropzone. That’s despite spending a whopping £70m in the summer.

The Yellow Submarines are there for the taking and it is up to the Rangers team to deliver.

The atmosphere the fans create will play a huge role in allowing them to do that.

Send it on.
