Hull City fans have raved about Greg Docherty after the former Rangers player shone on his return from injury in a 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday night.
Docherty left Ibrox in August in search of regular playing time, joining the English club in a deal worth a reported £400k [Hull Daily Mail].

He quickly established himself in Grant McCann’s team, starting each of the Tigers’ first 12 league fixtures.
The 24-year-old suffered an injury setback last month, with a thigh problem ruling him out of three league matches and an FA Cup tie against Stevenage.
However, he returned to action on Wednesday for a home fixture against Doncaster.
The former Gers midfielder didn’t manage to score his first goal for his new club or notch an assist in the 2-1 win, but he earned rave reviews for a strong 90-minute performance in the middle of the park.
Here’s a selection of reactions from Hull City fans to Docherty’s post-match tweet:
Hull are looking to earn promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking this season and they are in a strong position ahead of the busy festive period.
The Tigers are currently top of the League One table with 33 points, four clear of second-placed Lincoln City.
