How much do Rangers need to pay for Malik Tillman? Many are asking after the American’s double secured a 2-0 win over Dundee United.
The United States international scored his eleventh and twelfth goals of the season at Ibrox earlier on Saturday as Rangers picked up three points in their Scottish Premiership clash.
As you will know, the 20-year-old is only on loan in Glasgow, so Rangers fans will soon be waving goodbye to their No.71 – unless Michael Beale and Ross Wilson stump up for a permanent deal.
So, how much do Rangers need to pay for Tillman? Let’s take a look…
How much do Rangers need to pay for Malik Tillman?
Well – according to The Times – Rangers only need to cough up £5m to sign Tillman from Bayern Munich on a permanent basis.
That represents a potential bargain for someone who is already making a huge impact in Scottish football at the age of just 20.

After today’s brace against Dundee United, Tillman has now scored 12 goals – while also providing five assists – in 39 appearances for Rangers, in what has been a hugely successful loan spell.
Many of the £13,000-a-week man’s goals have singlehandedly won Rangers all three points in Scottish Premiership action.
Tillman’s strike against Motherwell back on Sunday 16th October helped Rangers earn a 2-1 win, before another goal of his in the 1-0 victory over Hearts back on Wednesday 9th November secured all three points.
The Nürnberg-born forward then scored another crucial goal in the 2-1 win over Ross County back on Saturday 4th February, earning Rangers another three points before today’s double made it 12 points won by Tillman almost singlehandedly.
Simply put, Beale and Wilson have to hand Bayern Munich that £5m sum – the deal is too good for the Gers to ignore.
