Hearts defender Michael Smith has offered high praise for Rangers danger man Ryan Kent, as quoted by the Edinburgh Evening News.
The Gers take on Hearts at Tynecastle this afternoon.

However, Kent and top goalscorer, Alfredo Morelos, will miss the fixture through suspension.
As far as Smith is concerned, that’s excellent news.
“Kent has had a fantastic season,” said Smith, as quoted by the
Edinburgh Evening News.
“I’ve come up against him directly and he’s a great player. His speed, his change of direction, his acceleration. He’s as good as anyone I’ve ever played against and as a winger, he’s got what you need to get past players. He’s really good at taking people on.
“That’s why he’s had such a great season. I can’t think of anyone else who has been as consistently good.”

It’s unlikely the Northern Ireland international would have offered such lavish praise had Kent been eligible for selection today.
Nonetheless, it’s refreshing to see a rival talk so positively about a Gers player.
Kent may be on borrowed time at Ibrox, though. Steven Gerrard wants to bring him back for at least another season [Daily Mail], but after lighting up two Old Firm games this season, the 22-year-old Liverpool loanee is sure to be in high demand come the summer.
