Ex-Rangers star Harry Forrester is set for a move to the United States as he joins up with United Soccer League side Orange County.
It is his third club since leaving Rangers at the beginning of last season. Forrester joined Tractor Sazi when Pedro Caixinha joined Rangers.
He only played two games before being loaned out to fellow Iranians Machine Sazi, where he failed to register a single appearance.
Now, the attacking midfielder will look to relaunch his career in the American second division. He described the move to America as something he’d always had ambitions to do. He’ll join up with his new teammates in California for the new season.
Forrester was signed by Mark Warburton after impressing during an initial short term spell at the club. He joined from Doncaster Rovers for an undisclosed fee at the end of 2015. Warburton would then give him a three year deal towards the end of the 14/15 season.
He was also in and out of the team and never appeared to settle into a rhythm at Ibrox. He would spend the 17/18 season on loan at AFC Wimbledon.
Harry Forrester made 44 appearances for Rangers, scoring eight goals.
One of Forrester’s old Rangers teammates is also on the move this week, this time coming back to Scotland.
